True Black and White
Analog Photography
“True Black and White” is a selection of images produced through analog processes. A range of different films with varying ISO’s were employed. This affected the sharpness and grain of the image. Another variable within this set is the use of different cameras dating from circa 1930 to 1980, which determined whether shooting was done fully manually or with an in-built light meter. Each camera also dictated the dimensions of the image.
These works are a study of natural light on various subjects, be it objects, people and architecture.
